Party Bus FAQ

We know you will have questions before or after you rent a luxury party bus limo. We want to put your mind at ease and answer any questions you may have. If you have a question that isn't answered here, please reach out and ask. We are always here to help you and make sure you have the best experience with Own The Night.

What is the minimum number of hours I can rent for?

We require a three (3) hour rental minimum.

Can I play my own music?

YES!!!! Absolutely! Each of our buses is bluetooth equipped in the passenger cabin. Pull up your favorite playlist and enjoy the ride!

Is there smoking allowed on the bus?

No, we do not allow any smoking, vaping, or illegal drug use on any of our vehicles. If you need a smoke break just let our driver know and they will gladly pull over somewhere safe for you.

Does my rental fee include gratuity? How much is the average tip?

No, we feel it provides a more rewarding and personal experience for our clients and our drivers to be given a cash tip on the day of the event. We can accommodate tipping on any major credit card if you wish but encourage cash tipping. Typically the average tip is around 15% of the rental fee.

How far will your buses travel?

We will travel as far as you wish to go within the state of Wisconsin.

What kind of steps do you take to clean your buses?

We use a product called Microban-24 to clean ALL accessible surface areas of the bus before and after each event. Microban is a really cool product that kills 99.9% of bacteria, cold & flu, and coronaviruses for 24 hours after each application.

Can I drink alcohol on the bus?

YES! Any adult above the age of 21 with photo identification is allowed to consume alcohol on any of our buses. We DO NOT tolerate underage drinking and will terminate the rental if someone under 21 is found to be drinking alcohol.

What types of alcohol is allowed on the bus?

Bring whatever you would like to drink! Wisconsin state law dictates that we as the operator of the bus cannot provide any alcohol. Our only rules are that any cooler must be a hard-sided cooler (no styrofoam or soft-sided coolers), no kegs, and no shotgunning of beers on the bus. It tends to make a huge mess! For the safety of our passengers, we encourage aluminum or plastic bottles.

What is your rental policy?

The majority of bus/limousine operators will require that you book their vehicle for a minimum of 4 hours when making your reservations. We encourage you to consider extending your reservation beyond the minimum rental in advance since we cannot guarantee that the vehicle or driver can be available to you beyond the reserved time. The standard industry practice is to request a 50% nonrefundable deposit to hold your reservation for a bus and the remaining balance typically due 7-10 days before the reserved date.

Why are a contract and a deposit required to reserve a bus? Why are deposits non-refundable?

Most events are reserved months if not a year in advance, with a contract and deposit it locks you in and that date and time become YOUR date and timeframe. We will turn away other clients that want your reserved date because it is yours. In turn, if your event is canceled or you change your mind we do not offer refunds because we have turned away other opportunities for that date. If you decide to cancel your reservation let us know as SOON as the decision is made, if we can fill your rental at 100% of what your rental was for we will be willing to work with you on a credit towards another rental for a future date.
